Now that you are done reading (I'm sure of it), which of the characters in the three books would you most want to meet? Be friends with? Would any of them go to Saul and like it? Can you imagine any of them in your current life?
Do you see yourself in any of these characters?
Discuss.
I would most want to meet Kolya and Lev. Those two were very funny together, but i wish Kolya didn't die. If i had to pick a character from a book who would like to go to Saul it would be John Grady. I cant imagine any of them in my current life.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Kolya and Lev had to be the most interesting characters of all the novels. Well, Kolya was the cool one while Lev was a bit of a tag along until he was older. My choice of meeting a character resides with Kolya. To be friends with a quirky and smart man like that makes me want to be in the war with him.
DeleteThe only character i can imagine going to saul would be John Grady. He was the one who you could stick in ms.arbs class. - Ciara B
I actually think that the character that I would most like to meet from these three books would be Vika. I liker her strong personality and how she handles herself in tough situations. She shows persistence to make it through the war and will do anything to kill the people that are trying to take over her country.
ReplyDeleteThe one character I could see attending Saul is John Grady because of his work with cattle and horses we would benefit if we had him with as a student because of his knowledge base.
I could see John Grady being a part of my current life because i could picture him being a friend I would have made through FFA or 4H.
I see myself in 3 of these characters which are John Grady because of this love for agriculture and farming, Vika because of her strength and perseverance, and Kolya for the sense of humor and friendliness he has.
Kolya was my favorite characters out of all of the books, so I would love to meet him. Whenever he is around there never seems to be a dull moment. So it would be nice to be friends with him.
ReplyDeleteI also agree that John Grady would fit perfectly in Saul. I can easily picture him traing our horses, and riding them around in the feilds.
I can can relate to Lev a little, because of his timidness at times. But it's hard to imagine any of the characters in my current life because they live in very different and distinct times.
I would Definitely love to meet Vika and learn a few of her skills, She would be one of my closest friends who can also double as some sort of bodyguard. I think Koyla would fit in perfectly with the kooky saul kids.
ReplyDeleteIf I could meet any of the characters from the novels, it would definitely be Vika. Vika is very dominate and unfeminine yet I find her the most interesting because the book doesn't really give a broad description of her background so one really knows why she is the way she is. They can only all agree that she has a great hate for Germans but so do all the Russians and Jews. I also like the idea of female assassins...but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteI would want to meet John Grady. I think he has this great sense of adventure and we both have a common love for horses.
ReplyDeleteI'd want to meet and be friends with Kolya because he has a good sense of humor and says things he shouldn't most of the time. I think he is naive and I like that because it lets him get away with half of the stuff he does say.
ReplyDeleteJohn Grady, Rawlins, and Blevins would like Saul because of their relationship with horses.
