If i could visit any of the settings from the three books it would have to be Leningrad from City of Thieves. As i was reading the book the rawness of Leningrad interest me. For some reason i would have liked to witness the devastation and ruins of the small city.
If i could visit any of the settings in the three books I would want to visit Piter and Mexico. I would want to visit Piter just to see if it was a bad as my imagination has made it with dead bodies everywhere, the icy ground, and demolished buildings. I would want to visit Mexico because of all the horses of course nothing else but the horses. Like why did everybody have a horse(well not everybody). I also never been to Mexico so I would like to see what it looks like.
Visiting Mexico would also have to be my first choice. The way ATPH describe the journey to and through the country made me want to continue reading. The thought of traveling horse back to Mexico makes me want to visit even more. - Ciara Beasley
If I could visit any of the settings in the books I would have liked to go to Mexico. Not just to the horse farm but traveling on horse back through the country seems nice and peaceful until they come across Belvins. It seems peaceful and relaxing before all the hell breaks loose.
The setting that had the most garnished and appealing descriptions would be the Mexican countryside in ATPH. It's undeveloped and wild, which makes it a desirable place to visit. The mountains and rock formations would be a sight to see,and the people are for the most part welcoming.
i would like to visit Shalimar in Song of Solomon to experience the rich southern culture described in the book. i want to see the cave where Pilate and Macon were as children and Circe's house.
I would agree with Lyndsi in saying the Mexican country side from ATPH is the most appealing. The undeveloped and wild landscape complimented by mountain ranges seems like a sight to see.
I would probably went to Mexico, where John Cole went. Reasons why would have to be that I've never visited a place like Mexico; where its hot, and sandy everyday. Not only the setting as in location, but the time as well, and trust me, Mexico at that time, is way better than Russia during the Nazi's reign, or any place in Song of Solomon where racism was very strong most places you went.
